Your provider targets specific muscles to diminish wrinkles, and your other facial muscles are left completely unaffected. This ensures your results look natural following your Neurotoxin treatment. Most people bothered by the signs of aging in their upper face are good candidates for this. However, avoid Neurotoxin treatment if you’re pregnant or have certain neurological diseases.

During treatment, your provider uses an ultra-fine needle to inject precise doses of Neurotoxin into key areas that affect the appearance of wrinkles. Depending on the areas being treated, your provider typically administers between four and ten injections. You might notice some mild redness or swelling in the treatment area, but this should fade soon. You can use makeup to cover up any of these short-term side effects. You can resume your normal daily activities right after your treatment.
The wrinkle-smoothing results start to show up just 24-72 hours after your treatment. It may take up to 14 days to see the final result. The results usually last up to four months or longer. Your body metabolizes the medication over time, and the effect gradually wears off.
